Last spring, I spent three weeks touring France, and Lyon was my favorite city (sorry, Paris). I decided to visit Lyon again in the fall and just spent another week there. The City still enchants me. Here are a few photos:

I loved Lyon too. In the old city there is/was a shoemaker’s shop with wonderful, whimsical handmade shoes. Also, Lyon has its own candies. I can’t remember the name but I’m sure you can find them in candy stores there. Such a wonderful opportunity. Have fun and send more pix. Thanks.
It was wonderful to be back in Lyon. I visited several places I missed the last time and revisited some places I liked. A perfect visit. I had several kinds of candy–coated roasted almonds, some chewy bits, etc.
Enjoy your trip. It’s pretty special when a city calls to you. Autumn is a lovely time to visit Europe.
Right Jackie. I think Lyon and Krakow, Poland, are the two cities where I feel most at home.
Seefeld Austria did that for me. We were there in winter and it was magical. I have always wanted to go back for other seasons.
So happy you are traveling – especially on your special day! Love your photos!

Jackie, It is a great gift to find a place that calls out to us.
